An elegant soiree of new works inspired by the glamour and fun of Happy Hour and decadent dining with a melancholy twist.
This set of handmade cocktail picks in sterling silver and gold, are both delicate and functional objects, referencing the critically endangered eucalyptus morrisbyi (Morrisby's Gum). This species of eucalypt is endemic to the eastern shore of Hobart and is in critical decline, with around 50 naturally occurring plants remaining locally.
The series explores the form and growth habit of the foliage from the sweet rounded juvenile foliage, to the glaucous seed pods and the stunning flowering form, ornately referencing the delicate and fragile nature of the plants in Emily's signature botanical style.
Each cocktail pick is paired with a gold and silver handmade olive, an ornate, decadent addition – ready to spark deep conversations and consideration of the impact we have on the environment.
